GoDaddy – They have everything. I registered my first domain through GoDaddy years ago and still have several personal domains with them. Their domain management panel is easy to use and their 24×7 customer service is always ready to help. They have come a long way since the Bob Parsens’ CEO days. Give them a look if you have been away for a while.

Bluehost – The process is straightforward and quick. Easily check on their website if your desired domain is available, purchase it and you are off and running. I like the management tools they provide for keeping track of where my domains are in their renewal cycle, changing DNS records and working with email.
