And Just Like That

I announced to the Threads world that I am saying goodbye to Twitter / X.

It’s been a long time; my Twitter-versary was Nov 6, 2008. Wow, almost 16 years.

I have deactivated my personal and my business accounts. twitter.com/mattryanco and twitter.com/capwebsolutions. I just can’t bear to be a part of that mess any longer. I haven’t been posting on either account for a while now. I had already exported all of my data.

It was just the right time.

I still can’t call it “x”. I would still type t-w-i-t-t-e-r into the address bar.

The thing I’m going to miss the most is the sports reporting that I followed there. I hope more of them move over to Threads.

So long twitter-verse. It’s been interesting.
